There is no other festival in Australia that is like our festival! We cherish its unique magical wintery vibe celebrating life with a slice of shebang!
As always, Winter Magic relies upon a small country of volunteers to make the day happen! Your interest in stepping forward to help us leading up to the day, and/or on the day, is what makes this festival fun, inclusive and actually happen.

To participate, you will need to complete your details for our volunteer insurance. By joining our volunteer community, you will be required to attend one of our induction sessions, and do at least one rostered shift. We have just seven two-hour shifts between 6am to 8pm - with vacancies on a multitude of roles, so there’s plenty to choose from!

If selected, we would like to reward your participation! By becoming part of our volunteer community, you will also be invited to our exclusive afterparty . . . AND, free entry to all our ticketed events!!

The first step is to choose between a General Volunteer role or a Leadership role - such as a Coordinator. Some of these Leadership roles are paid responsibilities. They are also half day and full day duties. A resume may be required to fill some of these positions. However, if you just want to support us, then a general 2-hr shift is a great way to show support, and it will help this festival survive and continue into the future!
