Every year, our passionate volunteers make it all happen, and this time, we need you! We’re looking for dedicated, enthusiastic people to step into three essential roles:

• ✳️ Volunteer Coordinator – Help rally the incredible people who bring Winter Magic to life! You’ll recruit, organize, and support our volunteer team, ensuring they have everything they need to make the festival run smoothly. If you love working with people and keeping things on track, this is your chance to be at the heart of the festival’s success.

• 🎭 Entertainment Coordinator

  Bring the festival to life! You’ll plan and coordinate performances across all stages and street areas—working with musicians, dancers, and entertainers to create a vibrant, seamless program. If you love live performance, scheduling, and creating magical moments, this is the role for you.

• 🛍️ Stalls Coordinator – The bustling markets are a festival highlight, showcasing local artisans, food vendors, and community groups. As Stalls Coordinator, you’ll manage stallholder applications, allocate spaces, and be the go-to contact for vendors. If you’re organized, love markets, and enjoy supporting small businesses, this role is perfect for you!

• 🌿 Sustainability Coordinator

  Help make Winter Magic greener! You’ll guide the festival’s environmental practices—reducing waste, improving recycling, and promoting eco-friendly initiatives among vendors, visitors, and volunteers. Perfect for someone passionate about sustainability and community education.

• 🚦Marshal Coordinator

  Keep the festival safe and flowing! You’ll recruit and manage parade and event marshals, oversee crowd movement, and ensure smooth communication with safety teams. Ideal for someone organized, calm under pressure, and confident leading volunteers on the ground.

• 🎭 Parade Coordinator – The Grand Parade is the soul of Winter Magic, and we need someone to lead the charge! You’ll coordinate parade participants, set the lineup, and ensure everything runs safely and spectacularly on the day. If you have a flair for logistics and love seeing creative visions come to life, this is the role for you!

• 🎡 Festival Director

  Lead the vision and heartbeat of Winter Magic! The Festival Director oversees all aspects of planning and delivery — from creative programming and logistics to safety, budgeting, and partnerships. You’ll guide coordinators, liaise with the committee, and ensure every element of the festival aligns with its mission of community, creativity, and celebration. This role suits someone with leadership experience, strong organisational skills, and a passion for bringing big ideas to life.
