Michele Conte is an Australian music producer making high caliber techno releases ranging from down tempo to peak time. With several successful charting tracks on Beatport Hype & Main charts (including a No.1 hit in Jan 2021) he is a much sort after collaborator & live act with an ever increasing international audience.
Playing all original material live to packed out venues at some of the largest underground events in Australia has led to rave reviews. The best way to describe these live experiences is to say there is a definite sonic nod to the past and a firm ear in the future.

Michele Conte performs all original songs & material in a soundscape of hybrid old school hardware VS newer DJ equipment. Playing released, unreleased, new tracks & tracks live using stems and FX much of it on the fly. Each live set is a constant manipulation of multiple sound sources unique to each performance. Since this performance in May 2021 the set up has expanded to include Roland gear playing live, laptop, Pioneer & Traktor DJ, Ableton Live, stems made from original material & released tracks sourced specifically for each gig.
“My live sets are a controlled mix of audio sources a bit like the radio shows I used to do. I would make soundscapes live on air where I’d have multiple audio sources like two video players playing movies, vinyl decks, tape decks, DAT players, CDs, other radio receivers and music hardware gear sometimes playing all at once. This led to working in sound design for film and television so I am kind of still doing something like that in a hybrid sort of way”
