Shifting Screens comprises urban and rural landscape photographs and video taken from moving vehicles. It speaks to the fleeting nature of life while navigating its uncertain terrains.

Our collaborative common ground is that we have Western Sydney migrant backgrounds, and our works’ undercurrents carry a migrant’s sense of groundlessness.

We have taken landscape photographs from moving vehicles for years—Ida from trains, Bette, from cars. We are influenced by emotive power of sublime landscape painting.
