Red Bee
Australian heavy rock three piece, RED BEE, originating from the Blue Mountains NSW in 2008, have released two albums, two EPs and one stand-alone single to critical acclaim domestically and overseas. 2022 will see the band release two new singles, ‘BEAUTIFUL WRECK’ and ‘GUTTER CHRIST’.
A hectic live schedule has seen the band perform on Soundwave, Dead of Winter and Dimeday festival stages, and support international and domestic acts including Seether, Protest the Hero, Trapt, Starset, Flyleaf, Frenzal Rhomb, King Parrot, Caligula’s Horse and Mother’s Cake, receiving plaudits from a growing loyal fanbase as well as their heavy music peers and press.
● RED BEE’s debut album ICTUS was released in 2012, and fearlessly announced the band as a heavy rock act to be reckoned with. Recorded by Clayton Segelov (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Lamb of God, Tomahawk, The Angels)
● Their 2-track EP CHOKEHOLD / I, ALONE followed in 2015, a creative turning point for the band. Produced, mixed and engineered by Dylan Mitrovich (Breaking Orbit) at Lockup Studios, Sydney, and mastered by Matthew Gray (Daysend, Powderfinger)
● In 2018 RED BEE unleashed their second full length album, SILENT ENEMY, which fortified the band’s evolution and was the catalyst for the band playing larger stages supporting more international and domestic acts, as well as hosting their own headline tours. Recorded with Chris Blancato (Bare Bones, Northlane, Arteries, DVSR)
● 2022 sees the release of ‘BEAUTIFUL WRECK’ and ‘GUTTER CHRIST’, the second and third singles of a series from RED BEE that underlines the band’s fierce independence and grassroots resourcefulness. Recorded with Matthew Templeman (Statues/Voyager/Havoc). Follows the first single ‘KILLING TIME’
