PaperSun
PaperSun are an experimental rock quartet, their sound ranging from ambient soundscapes to psychedelia. Formed at the tail end of 2016, the Sun perform extended sonic workouts utilising a blend of electronic tomfoolery, improvisation and extended performance techniques and have played venues such as the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, the Katoomba Civic Centre for the Winter Solstice Celebrations in 2018, a Summer Solstice performance at Junction 182 and the Winter Magic Festival in 2019. PaperSun voyage to the dark heart of psychedelia before emerging back into light, taking their audiences on an exhilarating journey from one sonic universe to the next.
Formed around the nucleus of bassist Mark Bradridge, drummer Steve Gunning, and guitarists Peter Long and Steve Waters, the continuing experimentation of Paper Sun guarantees a compelling and immersive experience for audience and band alike.
